AUTOParkit is classified as an Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS). It is not
uncommon for automation to be associated with immense sound due to operational
equipment. Most factories require employees and visitors to wear hearing protection due to
excessive machine noise. Stamping, Cutting, Boring, Welding, and Packaging Machines – all
make noise. AUTOParkit stores/retrieves cars in the dark and emits only the hum of an electric
motor and the conveyance of pallets on top of steel rollers.
AUTOParkit uses all-electric AC motors that run quietly and produce smooth mechanical equipment that
runs smoothly. When tours are conducted inside a fully operational AUTOParkit System, the attendees and tour guide
never have to raise their voice.
